Soverin is a private (Dutch) company based in Amsterdam started by a couple internet enthusiasts, we want to create great products that are safe, beautiful and easy to use. The founders believe in technology solutions that help create a safer, more transparent and honest world. A big team of original founders, late co-founders, partners and supporters devote their skills, time and efforts to growing and enhancing Soverin.
Soverin is an honest alternative to ‘free’ email like Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo. Same experience, but different principles. If it’s free, you’re the product. Take control back over your personal data, as they matter. We believe everybody deserves their own domain and a private mailbox.

Soverin is an independent, private company based in Amsterdam, run by a team of internet enthusiasts who want to create great products that are safe, beautiful and easy to use. All founders have a background in technology and devote their skills, time and efforts to creating technology solutions that make a difference.
We’re passionate about changing the status quo and actively want to raise awareness about digital privacy. Our mission is to ensure private communication for everyone. We give people control over their privacy. The technology has been here for years, but nobody can really use it. We are here to change that.
Providing alternatives to the ‘free’ model of data surveillance is what we strive for. People are waking up to how the ’free’ model actually affects them; as we all now, if it’s free, you are the product and this is causing discomfort and confusion.
The hunt for data is out of control. Personal data matter and that’s why we offer an alternative for ‘free’ with you being in control of your own data.
Messages you send should stay between you and the receiver. More like a sealed envelope than a postcard.
The first step is a private email service that uses cutting-edge technology, but is based on clear values. We believe communication should be simple, private and sustainable. That’s why we run our servers on sustainable energy sources and optimize our databases to decrease power consumption.
Signing up is a breeze. All you need is a phone number. We are not interested in acquiring personal data or building user profiles. Your mobile phone number is all you need to sign up, it is only used to reset your password.
Our email service keeps your data private. Life online should be as private as offline. Free to create, share and do as you please.
